This album was a sort of throwback to the negative / depressed tone of a lot of my earlier pre-Rude Corps stuff. I'm a bit ambivalent about this album: just thinking about the tracks, none of them really strike me as stand-outs and as a whole, this album leaves a murky sort of impression on my mind. However, I'm usually pleasantly surprised by it when listening to it: it's by no means perfect, but there's a good few rough gems in there I think. I originally intended to do vocals for "Ballad Of An Anarchist" and "No Fun", but was unhappy with the results, so I left them as instrumentals.
All tracks written, recorded, mixed, produced by Neil O'Brien. Art work also by Neil O'Brien
Samples:
"Good Life" contains a sample from "Champagne Supernova" by Oasis.
