I think there is a strong strain of nihilist-hedonism in our culture. I mean both terms in the vulgar, negative sense. People try to blot out reality with drink, drugs, TV, celebrity worship, etc. This escapism is so prevalent, I can't help but wonder if it isn't a deliberate means of social control.
This album is easily my least favourite. There's no real progress from the earlier stuff and too many of the tracks are weak. Suppose it was one of these thing I just had to get out of my system... I do like the artwork though.
All tracks written, recorded, mixed, produced by Neil O'Brien. Art work also by Neil O'Brien
Samples:
"Talking Shit" contains a sample from "White Punks On Hope" by Crass.
