This was the second Rude Corps EP and ninth release in total, written between Oct 05 - Jan 06.
After a couple of pretty self-indulgent albums, this was a bit of a change up: another violent politcal outburst. I like this EP - it's really tightly focussed and has a raw punk edge to it - to the point of one of the tracks being straight hardcore punk and another ("Upright Citizen") being a cover version of a track by legendary anarcho-punks, Crass. This could have faultered badly if I'd tried to do my own vocals on "Shut Up..." but I was lucky that Andreas (aka Barrel-Sized Capacitor) agreed to do them for me - and add some really cool guitar work too!
Actually, I was equally lucky to get some remixes of tracks: Nuff X did "One Minute Silence" and the "Crunctacular Mix" of "Lock Down", while CJ Freq X (aka Omnisine) did a superb "Oriental Odyssey Mix" of "Lock Down".
Finally, I also did an edited version of "Bleeding Obvious" that cuts the noise intro, which some people found unbearable.... hehehe...
