AgitProp Liner Notes
We need a social revolution. Why? Take a look around you, take in the horrors of wars and man-made famines, look at how pollution is altering the climate, see how society is decaying and crumbling amidst crime and poverty. See how race, religion and nationalism are being used to weaken and divide us. Watch as the government passes legislation to create a state of total surveillance. Sit and stupify in front of the TV and all that turgid shite that passes for culture.
Politicians will occasionally wring their hands at "the unacceptable face of capitalism", but in truth, capitalism doesn't have an acceptable face. Capitalism is economic civil war: there can be no peace while it continues to exist. It can't be reformed - don't believe anyone who tells you it can. Its very essence is to always try to get more than you give. Inequality - of wealth, of power, of justice - is its defining feature. As a social system, the capitalist state is doomed - and unless we move beyond it, so are we.
It is more than two hundred years now since the cry first went up for liberty, equality and fraternity. Since then, this dream has become corrupted to a point where fraternity has become alienation, equality has become repression and liberty has become a threat to national security. Some call this progress - fuck those people: anarchy and peace is what I want.
The world doesn't have to be like this, but YOUR apathy makes it so. Change is possible if you are willing to make it happen, so get up off your arse and DO IT!
Bring on the revolution!
